I have had an energy audit in the past at a different location. I didn't find it particularly helpful as I knew more than they did, it was a team of two.
I advise getting a whole home energy monitor,
Home - Sense.com.
With 10,000 snapshots of your energy consumption per second, coupled with machine learning you'll know exactly what individual appliances are costing you
What you'll get on an energy audit is old, tired advice. You know turn down your water heater ten degrees and so forth, or get a water heater on timer. I knew exactly what it was costing me to heat and exactly what it costs to keep an unused water heat ready to provide water. I had plenty of data to decide if buying an energy efficient item is worth while. Should I really worry about unplugging the phone charger, I know that now.
If you ask here, just like anywhere, you get these wildly uninformed opinions. It just does not compare to accurate data that is specific to you, in your home.
