You left out wucheriasis, brugeiasis, schistosomiasis and trypanosomiases to name a few off the top of my head. (Although technically not the latter, since Chagas disease is Trypanosoma cruzi, but significantly different from the African varieties T. gambiense and T. rhodesiense). However, most on that list are not endemic to Ecuador. I'd be more interested in how their "excellent" healthcare system handles 3 vessel CAD(coronary artery disease) or even a CAP(community acquired pneumonitis) or SIE(stroke in evolution). See how well "cheaper" serves you then.
