Thumbs up Bonefish Grill

I had dinner last night with friends at the Bonefish Grill. It was the first time there for all of us but we had heard mostly good things and entered with anticipation.

We arrived at 6:00 with a reservation and although the restaurant was crowded our requested booth was open and waiting for us. The server was very pleasant, humorous in a respectful way and very knowledgeable about the menu and the different sauces. We shared appetizers, Bang Bank Shrimp with a sauce that was described as "spicy". We men didn't think it was but the lady in our party passed a shrimp about two inches above the sauce cup, kind of like you do with a very dry martini, and declared it too spicy for her. We also had the Maryland Crab Cakes and they were superb. They must have been 100% crab with no breading used as a filler. The lady in our party grew up in Maryland and declared these some of the best she'd had.

Our entrées were all fish with us men having rare Ahi Ahi which was perfectly prepared and presented. This is one of my favorite dishes and this may have been the best I've eaten.

We spent a long time eating slowly and talking a LOT. Out server was always within nodding distance but never did he come to our table unnecessarily or disturb out conversation. A true professional.

As stated before this was my first visit to Bonefish Grill and I was delighted. It certainly plan to dine here frequently.
