That seems about right Ed. Dew points in the 70's as you indicate are considered oppressive.

As you know the Heat Index is not the dew point but has components of temp and humidity similar to the dew point but is calculated for the effect on the human body. Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_index
