Dean Koontz's novel was just to hard for me to continue with. It seems that dogs play a big part of the book, but it was just too hard for me. Couldn't agree MORE!!! I finished the book but cannot recommend it. Just too weird & pointlessly rambling. I only hung in there for the dog anyway. My husband attempted to read it too but gave up quickly. So you're not alone, Herb! Anyway, as you said, too many books, too little time. . .
