We were in TV last week while it got hotter each day. Early in the week, the afternoon showers cooled the air nicely. While it was hotter than normal for this time of year, we still did exactly what we had planned - played golf (three days, once in the afternoon), worked in the yard in the mornings, went to the pool, went to the squares and danced, went shopping, rode around in the golf cart, played with the grandkids, and sat on the lanai each morning and evening (northeast facing, so it is shaded in the pm). Sure it was hot and we would sweat (perspire for those that prefer) a lot, especially when in the direct sun. When our visit concluded on Sunday, we flew back to Oklahoma, where it is even HOTTER! Can't wait to get back to the cooler FL. climate!
