The Hooligans are your guys. Most of the bands even if they are billed as rock play in a very antiseptic style as not to offend. Hooligan play it straight. The guys in TH also have another band called The Spazmatics. They play 80's stuff in a comical way and again are quite good. You would think the villages would bring in more hard rock as The Hooligans draw a big crowd.
