There are two Sumter County libraries in the Villages area. One is near Pinellas Plaza on Powell Road, and the other is on Belvedere Blvd near the Pimlico rec center. They both have DVD movies and TV shows on the shelves that are not empty. Anyone can walk out of the library with them and there is no electronic security. The cases are not even locked, so you can remove the discs from the case and put the disc in your pocket. I am not suggesting that you do this, but it is what it is. I think there should be more security to protect the library property.
