Blocking individual numbers never worked for me in the past. They would just call back using a different caller ID number. Currently, I get about 10 calls per day regarding final expense insurance, credit cards, suspicious Amazon orders, computer issues, auto warranties, and donations to the police department.
My Samsung phone has a built-in "Hiya" app that worked for about a week. But, after that, the callers changed their caller ID numbers and the calls came right back.
