On Aug. 2, Alycyn Culbertson will be giving a presentation entitled “Attracting Butterflies to Your Garden” at Everglades Regional Recreation Complex. The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. Alycyn Culbertson, an expert gardener with 23 years of experience in gardening for butterflies, will discuss what plants will draw and keep butterflies in people’s gardens. Participants will receive information on the top nectar plants that thrive in Florida’s climate, host plants and their corresponding butterfly species.
