There are other threads on this topic. Do a search. In my opinion, it is not a good idea to have someone clean the flexible ducts in your attic. The duct can be damaged by the cleaning equipment and cause an air leak that will be very difficult to locate and repair. Also, the flexible ducts have so many nooks and crannies that the cleaning process will not be effective. It is a good idea to have your dryer vent cleaned.
