I have also installed a few alarms for golf carts (search for motorcycle alarms), including one that was 2 way. On this type the remote can receive a signal when the alarm is tripped.

Good thinking, once again. I'm hoping that, (first of all our cart is not new), and if they try to steal it is using another key, which will not work if the kill switch is on, they will quickly move onto another target. But really, who knows? Thanks for the information.
