It is MUCH more about making America forget about the ATROCITIES and the unprovoked attack that Russia has engaged in during their attempted CONQUEST of their peaceful neighbor. Brittany Griner is a PAWN in a Russian sideshow designed to distract. The sad part is that it is successful because for some reason US people are blaming Brittany.
If their daughter or granddaughter were beginning to ROT in an inhumane Russian prison - now that would be a WHOLE different story. I can imagine and visualize the tears and outcries for HELP that would generate in America !!!!!!!
