I think this year more typical. When I moved to The Villages 6 years ago, I expected it to rain every afternoon, because that was the way it happened in Gainesville when I attended graduate school there. In Gainesville, the afternoon rain was like clockwork. Not so in The Villages, even though it is only 65 miles away.
