I don't know a lot of the political particulars, but I do know a couple of things. 1) This mysterious presence lurking in the shadows, AKA "The Developer" seems to have a pretty good handle on what makes The Villages tick and what is needed to keep it ticking; and 2) I for sure don't want a gaggle of cranky old curmudgeons with axes to grind trying to make someone who DOES know what they're doing, to bend to the will of said curmudgeons.

My wife and I knew what we were getting when we moved here. Things were pretty clear and as far as I am concerned, in our best interests. People who move here and then try to change things are working in THEIR interests, not mine.
