My husband and I were returning from Spanish Springs via the golf cart trail adjacent to 466 this afternoon. We were almost hit by a rental golf cart driven by a teenage boy. He was racing and trying to pass another rental cart that also was driven by a teenage boy. There were three white rental carts following each other with a total of 7 teenagers. This kid just pulled out on a curve and thanks to my husbands quick reflexes he was able to brake and swerve to the right onto the grass. The kid pulled back into his lane and yelled sorry! I won't tell you what my husband responded.

What is it going to take to wake up The Village Golf Cart Store to keep them from renting to anyone that just wants to drive around our trails for their amusement. Does someone have to be seriously injured or be killed before they realize they are being reckless by renting to minors.
