Yes, I remember that claim. That 95% was the efficacy from all the trials done by Moderna. If I recall correctly, Moderna did have better efficacy numbers than Pfeizer. I took that 95% efficacy to mean that there is a 5% chance of me getting Covid after I was vaccinated. I don't ever remember feeling that I had no shot at all of getting Covid. As soon as I was fully vaccinated, I felt very protected, knowing I had a 95% chance of not getting Covid and a 100% chance of not winding up in the hospital if I were one of the unlucky 5% of people who would get Covid. That is the way I understood those efficacy claims from the vaccine manufacturers.
