Also, I'm surprised that the doctors and others among the posters here do not accept that medical knowledge is always changing and updated. What was purported as truth in the past has always been susceptible to change due to experience and further research. I know people will debate that on a political bias. But my husband and I haven't had the flu in 30 years since starting the flu shot, and we've managed to skirt Covid so far.


My brother and I received the first doses of polio vaccine in Pittsburgh. There was never a doubt that our parents would deny us that. Did they take a chance? Yes. Could further research have cast doubt upon the polio vaccine safety? Yes. Nothing is guaranteed in life, but we're still here, and yet polio is starting to appear again, why...
