Plus someone mentioned that they remodeled and in typical walmart fashion they move things around every 6 months to get people to buy more when looking around. Otherwise shoppers like me just go straight to the stuff we want in less time and they can't have that. An old supermarket ploy that they love to use. But I'll still go back shopping there.
Maybe next time they'll have a less chaotic express checkout line and shoppers will know where to stand, not like how it was the last time I was there. They had a hand drawn "line starts here" sign for express checkouts that customers could hardly see so 2 clerks standing by the aisles were directing people waiting at different spots to line up by the sign. Cue the line from Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes: "It's a madhouse!!! A mad-houuuuusse!!!!"   |
The new self service cash registers are super sensitive as noted above. Be careful that you don’t get charged twice for same item. The good news is you can remove the duplicate charge yourself, you don’t have to call over an employee.
