Another One for You
I loved these, regardless of their truth. I suspect that they really are. When I worked for the Coors Distributorship back home, many moons ago I might add, my bosses owned more than just the one distributorship. In order to get from place to place, including their ranching interests, they purchased a plane and hired the owner of a crop dusting business in the next town to pilot it for them. J.W. was a typical slow-talking Texan and one day while waiting to take off, he had a "conversation" with the tower.
J.W. "Tower, do you hear how fast I'ma talkin'?"
Tower: "Yes, sir."
J.W. "Well, that's how fast I'ma listenin' so could you just slow down a mite?"
