I renewed on line. I took a selfie of myself and sent it in for the renewal. I forgot how much the renewal cost. I believe the CCW is good for five years, if I am not mistaken. I originally applied on line the first time, upon arriving in Florida and went to the police station for my finger prints. I also originally purchased a passport photo which I believe I got at Walmart or PackNShip. Not sure, but it was close by and where they advertise passport photos. Like I said, the renewal that I did on line, I just used my cell phone photo and uploaded it with the application.
I did not have to go through the classes or go to the range since I had a DD214. However, I did go through the class in another state when I received my CCW there. I enjoyed the class, even though I had previous experience as a firearms instructor (years ago) and have been a consistent shooter at local ranges for decades.
