For that price tag, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look of those dead fronds hanging on the bottoms of the palms. I keep telling myself that. Actually, I'm so used to that look, I don't even "see" them anymore. It is what it is.

And......like someone up-thread said, we should not be out and about during a storm when those fronds are going to be falling all over the place. What does concern me, however, are the fronds that fall from the palms at the squares onto the sidewalks. When I saw one huge frond on the sidewalk in front of one of the restaurants, I thought, someone would be really hurt if that fell on them as they were getting out of their car. OUCH!
