Just wondering if any others here have received such a strange request from the "U.S. Census Bureau". I am tempted to shred it and forget it in this era of SCAMS. Would appreciate your comments, please. --Thank you.

Just looked online and the American community surgery form is 20 pages long. You state what you received was 47 pages. Could you share the NAME of the form you received?

I read the form in entirety and as one of the minority in this country that actually pays federal taxes and support the majority who do NOT pay federal taxes, I would NOT fill out this form.
Given how extremely personal and intrusive this form is I can’t imagine anyone; rich or poor, intelligent or ignorant, choosing to fill this form out completely, accurately and truthfully…then popping it into our incompetent and corrupt postal system. I would imagine the average scammer, corrupt postal worker etc know what these clearly marked and unique envelopes look like and are a great source of data for potential ne’er-do-wells.
This means whatever census data we receive is highly likely for to bear no resemblance to our current American socioeconomic reality and therefore is a useless exercise in bureaucracy.
Good grief.
