I've seen squirrels, rabbits, birds, snakes, and dogs in the lawns around here too. I don't know if they would graze on my neighbor's glyphosate-treated lawn or how it would affect them.
As (I think) I stated in my first post, my concern isn't about the GMO plants, my concern is about careless use of Roundup-like chemicals. If there is no careless use then there is no concern.

The unchecked use of roundup is what I was referring to, not the use of a GMO lawn.
The area where this sod is being used is a huge watershed feeding into Lake Okahumka, headwaters for Lake Harris and our Chain of Lakes, Also...Lake Pan as well, feeding into the Withlacoochee and out to the Gulf via Yankeetown. This last area is the heart of the Big Bend .. Nature Coast.. I know nothing I say here will make a difference. Maybe once the MANATEES start having problems and someone finds a ton of glysophate in them.
