1. That wasn't what I was disputing. The statement was "you go into the hospital with a busted knee.." I read that as no mention of COVID yet claimed it would be counted as a COVID stat. THAT I do not believe.
2. There are over 20 times as many people dying of non-COVID causes than of COVID. If the accusations of over counting of COVID deaths were all true then there should be a drop in other causes. Unfortunately, 4% spread across all other causes is really in the noise. Excess deaths in 2020 and 2021 have to be attributed to something and COVID was the worldwide issue during that time. (fortunately, while the data is not all in yet, deaths for 2022 seem to be down significantly)
