In fact, earlier today, I watched a video from Goldwingnut who does drone videos, of the area that will be our dedicated pedestrian walking path that starts/ends at the Lake Miona Rec Center. I was gobsmacked to see how absolutely gorgeous it is going to be. Most of the path will be shaded by those huge Live Oak trees. And.......the path itself is being constructed with a "springy" type of material that is easy on the joints. Yay!!!!

About 6 months ago, hubby and I walked along one of the dedicated pedestrian walking paths south of 44 and it was totally in the sun. There was no shade at all but it wasn't the trail that goes around Hogeye. I believe it was a trail that ran along side one of the main streets (I think it may have been Megison Road).
I'm close to Miona. I'm looking forward to seeing that trail. When is it expected to be open?
