The entrance to every village has a gate. Expect it, look for it, stop until you see that it is up....simple.

You can also notice the shacks and white boxes at the entrances. It is difficult for those to blend into landscaping, traffic lights, or tail lights.

If you happen to find an entrance that does not have a gate - congratulations! Take note of where it is and remember that you don't need to stop at *that* entrance. But for all others, expect a gate, look for a gate, and stop until you see that the gate is not blocking your way.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
