I’m pretty sure I knew it was not tested to prevent transmission when I read the study results at about the time the vaccines were first released.
Not different definitions, just different expectations and different understanding of reality and of what is possible.
I will continue to view the murky ratios as good enough for me.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
