Interesting article. I grew up when Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Frank Robinson, Ernie Banks (never made the series), Bob Gibson, etc., were dominant players. According to the article, baseball is too expensive now. Although you always read about kids from the Caribbean - who are in extreme poverty - making it to the major leagues.
