He and another Doctor created a "conventional" vaccine that is designed for use in 3rd world counties. It is less effective than the mRNA vaccines used in the 1st world, but it can be produced in a low-tech way there. DR Hotez was on TV just about daily at the peak of the Delta variant here in the US. ........Incidentally, he predicts that the US has been TOO QUICK to take Covid off ITS radar screen because he expects a surge to happen in the winter when people up north spend more time INDOORS - and in the midwest where vaccination rates are LOWER.
