Because of my history I tend to relate things to cancer, where my life was saved by injecting poison in my body to kill the cancer. I experience other side effects, but am alive. Good question and on the right track. Basically, it is an overreaction of the immune system.
The reaction can be much stronger if you have COVID than the vaccine.
And can happen for many non COVID/vaccine reasons.
