Well, the legs of the DW are adjustable. I was able to "jack up" the front of the old DW with a "lever" (protecting the tile with a piece of cardboard) then get a wrench in to turn the front legs shorter. After that there was just enough room to pull it out, again still using the cardboard as protection I did the reverse to get the new one back in. Cranked the legs to the shortest position, slid it in, then jacked up the new DW as before then rather than cranking the legs long again I got a thin piece of plywood UNDER the short legs so next time, or if repair is needed, all I have to do is remove the plywood to drop down the DW and slide it right out. As much as I had no desire to pay to have it installed, it wasn't all about the benjamins, but because I enjoy that kind of work. Maybe if I had unlimited funds I wouldn't think that way, but since I have never had unlimited funds (or even slightly limited funds

) I much prefer and actually enjoy the DIY route.
