To those that are offended when I say "Bless you" or "Merry Christmas" sue me. Maybe I am just too old to change my ways, even if I wished to.
But, the thread has strayed from the subject of what happens to you when you die.
"..faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." In my opinion, without hope/faith what happens to you after you die wouldn't matter. It would mean that you could do whatever you wish without penalty. Without believing in an afterlife, life would be pretty simple and pretty miserable (in my opinion).
