Left turning cars are one of the most common causes of accidents between a car and a motorcycle. The auto driver either doesn’t see the motorcyclist or doesn’t gauge the speed correctly and enters into a left turn across the oncoming traffic and hits the motorcyclist. If motorcyclists run their high beams in the daytime oncoming traffic may see them better and may hesitate before crossing in front of them. As a motorcyclist you have to enter every intersection with your hand over the brake and look at every car as a threat and expect some of them to pull out in front of you.
