but President Obama is using his political organization to pay for television ads aimed at putting pressure on DEMOCRATIC senators to vote for and get passed a healthcare bill !

Could this not backfire ?

If the President is successful, the voters in those states (ARK, IND, FLA, LA, MA, NDAK, NE, OH) could turn on their senators. Sort of "eating your own" isnt it ?
