Political Signs and The Villages
Just about all of us know we can't have any signs on our lawns. I rarely see signs because of this. Now I see many political signs on lawns. I don't believe it is because owners don't know the rules, but that the feel they can ignore the rules this year at this time.
I contacted The Villages and they told me they have been inundated with complaints lately and they just can't keep up. Perhaps, the offenders realize this, and just play the waiting game that the election will be over before they catch up with me.
It just sends a bad message to the Community and causes further division. Most of us are not swayed by political signs, so why break the rules and stir the pot?
