I have Travelers through Villages Insurance. 3 years ago when they wrote it, it was around $920 IIRC, this year (JULY '22, 3rd renewal) it was around $970. Almost 15 yr old 2/2 Colony, max coverages inc. sinkhole (10% ded). Maybe they will catch up with me next year but for me barely any increases. SO MANY variables and obviously the coverages one has and the size of the home makes a major difference, so just tossing out numbers is meaningless without "apples to apples" comparisons. This topic is almost a weekly occurrence. The variations are mind boggling. Must siply be most insurance companies just don't want to write insurance so they figure "if you'll pay the price, good for us." Next year, after IAN, I think the stuff is really going to hit the fan. The **COST** won't be the major issue, the major issue will be finding a company that will write insurance in FL
