We, too, have the roll-up type screen. It was installed by Michele's Hide-Away Screens out of Ocala. Hubby has backed into it twice (thank goodness it was him and not me!) and the screen held. It bent the devil out of the frame and pulled it loose, but no damage at all to the screen. I can't imagine a screen you could ruin by walking into it. We have the one that is solar coated and the only way to see in is to walk up to it. Makes the garage much cooler in the summer, too (also keeps out the critters). I think they've gone up a little since we got ours, but it is well worth the money. It can be down at the same time as the garage door, but what would be the point? Bottom line: love it! One of the best investments we've made since moving in.
