I went to the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and earned a BA in Philosophy and then added another BA in History six months later in May of 1981. The wife of one of my Philosophy Professors was the Law Librarian at the National Judicial College which is on the UNR campus. NOTHING but gives UNR quite an impact on the education of judges in the United States. Had a neighbor lawyer who also taught at that Judicial College. Later got a MA at the U of Denver in Librarianship and Information Management (May 1984) and a Law degree from the U of MN.(May 1989)
Went back to Reno in 1989 as the cataloger for a national project. We had cataloged all the files on WESTLAW and LEXIS. I did the WESTLAW ones and a woman at SUNY at Buffalo's Law Library did those of LEXIS. I had gone back to Reno to attend that summer's national law librarian convention. Brought back a lot of memories of Reno, NV. Those memories are, for me, NOTHING but quite important.
