If you will be making her home your permanent residence, you will take several forms of residential proof to the Villages ID office and they will issue you a resident ID (driver's license, car registration, voter registration, any other bills coming to that address, etc). She doesn't really have to do anything but it might be helpful if she accompanied you to the ID office.
If you don't plan to officially make this your address, then the owner lady can get you a guest ID, renewing it every 30 days.
