Whether it is the confederate flag, statues of confederate generals, or other southern pride tokens, can you imagine if there were these items of idolatry to Hitler displayed around Germany? Perhaps you scoff, but the confederate flags are highly offensive to the majority of Americans, just like a Nazi flag would be abhorrent to almost all Germans.
