Have you tried to get government funding for a global cooling study? There are numerous cases where funding was not only denied, but existing funding was removed from those (often tenured professors) who decided to instead study how the sun (versus CO2) affects climate. Students today are faced with either doing CO2-warming research or get no faculty support for alternative interests. Honest climate science is being set back many years under this junk-science movement. It took the Vatican 350 years to acknowledge they were wrong to imprison Galileo for life for talking about how the Earth revolves around the Sun -- and not the reverse ... and let's hope it doesn't take 350 years to recognize the Sun controls our climate -- not CO2.
