Normal CO2 is NOT a pollutant. But EXCESS CO2 from a large AND INCREASING earth population burning fossil fuels IS a POLLUTION PROBLEM. The earth's land mass, decreasing forests, atmosphere, and the oceans are NOT able to handle the EXCESS. Human population increased from 1 billion in 1800 to 8 billion today. More people means more burning of fossil fuel and MORE of a pollution problem. if the earth had the population that it did in 1900, we would NOT be talking about Global Warming.
