CO2 does not create heat so it does not cause the warming directly. It does it indirectly by blocking the escape of the earth's warming, which prevents its natural cooling. It is essentially a Greenhouse Effect, as the process is called. The energy, the metabolism if you will, of earth and its life forms gives off heat. The CO2 seals it in and this accumulation of warmth causes warming.

Sure. So ... how much did "man-made" CO2 warm the earth last year? Should be very easy to find via Google since everyone knows for sure that it is happening.
