Channel 9 was the only network channel I struggled to get consistently on my old antenna attic setup, which was an "all in one" Amazon UHF antenna with a built-in pre amp.
When the pre-amp died, I replaced it with this (also from Amazon) - Long Range UHF- HDTV 91 Element Yagi Antenna from Steller Labs. I went with a separate pre-Amp which was a Winegard LNA-200 Boost XT HDTV Preamplifier, TV Antenna Amplifier Signal Booster, HD Digital VHF UHF Amplifier.
I now get 9 consistently, although the signal strength will drop to one bar out of five during some parts of the day, and during the recent rain we had. I also did a rescan one cool clear morning, and received 90 - yes 90 - channels. Some very weak, and can't receive throughout the day. Others are duplicates, and only about 40 might have something you would want to watch. But still, 90 channels!
