Cost to raise 2 chicks $16 a month (cheap food organic double). $48 plus chick’s cost until first egg. Happy chicken will lay 1 egg per day. Really cool coop in lanai and you are in business. Just don’t name them, not long down the road they are Sunday Supper
I hated cleaning the coop as a child, our rooster was evil. But no worries no need for a rooster just to get eggs.
