Go for the robo-knee. I went that route about four years ago; tore up my arthritic knee playing tennis. Doc had me jump through all the hoops: Cortisone, laparoscopic surgery, PT, etc., When I asked him if they will help he said no..they may help temporarily but at best they are a band-aid. The problem is that my insurance wouldn't pay for the total knee replacement unless I jumped through those preliminary hoops first.

Wasted a lot of time going for things I pretty much knew wouldn't help. But I got the total knee replacement and it was the best move I ever made.
