Furthermore, another hundred plus homes are being built in the Newell Franklin area which would only make things worse. I’m beginning to wonder if things were thought through for this busy thoroughfare?

I am the VHA Neighborhood Rep in Citrus Grove (and will be in Newell in June). We have been trying to address this since the Spring. The powers that be (developer, WPD, Sumter County) state this was engineered appropriately. I am going to the Town Hall to bring this to light - again. I was told this is how it is on Morse north of 466 - NOT TRUE; there are three traffic lights up there. In Newell, Lake County has no east way to respond to emergencies as Meggison Road does not go through to CR 470 yet. This CANNOT be safe for the Lake County residents of Newell who start to move in THIS MONTH.
