Feels strange that after the 9th hole you're left far from the starter shack with no way to exit the course without playing the back 9, or walking all the way back. I'm sure that it's not uncommon for someone to decide they're not up to finishing the back nine due to time or not feeling well.

Enjoyed the course and look forward to playing again.

True "links style" couurses in Great Britian and here in the US have "outbound" and "inbound" nines, with sometimes a snack bar in between. Only the first and 18th holes are at the clubhouse. Maybe a good idea to put a bar between #9 and #10 at Richmond!
