We found it very surprising in light of the fact that Florida in general, is extremely environmentally aware state that appreciates protecting the environment. It's very puzzling ?

You need to educate yourself on the waste to energy process used by Covanta, (the company that incinerates our solid waste in their Lake County facility). It is much more environmentally friendly than typical recycling programs plus aids in lowering electrical costs. For hazardous waste, the county has allocated days for drop off throughout the year.
